What's up with the crochet?
I’ve always enjoyed making things. As a kid I learned how to crochet, weave, knit and embroider. Since then, I’ve dabbled in all sorts of creative hobbies. Scrapbooking was a big one for years and I still love it.
But somehow I always come back to crochet.
Over the years I’ve accumulated enough yarn to open a small shop. These days I’m trying very hard not to buy more yarn. A lot of it turns into blankets to snuggle under on the sofa.
Turns out the cotton yarns in my stash are surprisingly good at turning into things that make people smile.

When I started sharing my crochet creations, “Creativitea by Petra Fisher” seemed a no-brainer to me.
As a greenie, I struggled with using plastic for these crochet creations. But in a roadside stall they needed to be protected from the weather. And you need to see inside the packaging.
Bio-based plastic to the rescue! As for the yarn… I started the crochet creation gifts to use up yarn instead of buying more.

How I finance all that tea I drink
My drive for sustainability made me search for bio-based packaging and use leftover yarn. Sounds a bit like a greenie do-gooder? You’re absolutely right!
